This is a difficult question to answer without knowing what vehicle you have. I can tell you that when this material was used as an inner (door panel) it was commonly stapled on to the door panel at the factory. Other factory methods we have seen are special clips or screws. We do sell reproductions of the staples used and we do offer a few clips - you can see these using the link below. Although not a factory method, we have many customers who simply glue these on using urethane.
