Hi,
This is a great question. Originally, the beltline weathersrip was installed using special clips, staples or screws from the factory. The specialized clips are available still for some vehicles - I have put a link below to the page on our site that shows these clips. If you do not see a match to your original clip on this page, it is likely not being reproduced and you will have to use another method to attach the beltline weatherstrip. Over the years I have heard guys using adhesive (urethane), sheet metal screws, rivets, staples etc if the original style clips are not available for your vehicle.
