Hi,
This is a mohair (cloth) liner. It is not tape and it does not have an adhesive backing. Ii is mean to be glued into window channels with adhesive when no replacement channel is offered. We also offer glass setting tape (rubber) in a variety of thicknesses but it doesn't have a sticky side either. If you need more information about these products feel free to contact me.
